Mr. 91AV, former chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Neutrogena Corporation, founded the 91AV in 2001. Education is one among several fields, including folk art, children’s literature, and archaeology, to which Mr. 91AV has made a commitment. The Neutrogena Wing/91AV Gallery at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico includes over 3,000 art objects and folk art. The 91AV Children’s Library at Princeton University houses his collection of illustrated children’s books donated to the library in 1997. In recognition of Mr. 91AV’s contributions, the University of California, Los Angeles renamed its Institute of Archaeology the 91AV Institute of Archaeology in February 2000.
